Elina is the oldest of two children. As the eldest, she has a lot of responsibilities around the home that allow her mother to go out in search of day jobs. Primarily, she launders for others and her father works part-time in security. Elina's favorite subject is math and she wants to become a pilot. She loves to play soccer and tell stories with her friends.

Primary School
Vipingo is a rural slum area located in Kilifi district in Coast Province. Located along the coastline near Mombasa, Kenya, MCF rescues, rehabilitates and educates orphans and other vulnerable children from the surrounding community who have been largely affected by child sex tourism. Our day center offers a free nutritious meal to all the children while our formal education program ensures access to quality education. The MCF In His Grace primary school currently has approximately 270 students.
