Illy Shidel
Illy is the second born of four children. Her mother chose to leave their father after he became violent due to mental illness. They live in the Nyalenda slums in substandard living conditions. Illy's mother sells chips and samosas to support the family. Illy's favorite color is orange and her favorite animal is the elephant. She enjoys science and hopes to become a doctor to help others in the community.
