Lizy Akinyi
Lizy lives with her mother and four siblings. Her father has passed away, leaving her mother to care for all five children. To earn an income, her mother collects materials from dump sites to sell to pig farmers, but she still struggles to provide for their basic needs. Working in these conditions has become a health hazard for her mother. Lizy loves playing netball with her friends, and she dreams of becoming a nurse one day.
