Erick is a partial orphan. His father is deceased and his mother suffers from addiction, working as a casual laborer to earn a little money here and there. Erick is polite and determined. He enjoys going to school but is often sent home for lack of fees. He loves to play football and enjoys watching the English Premier League on TV.
