Mary is the youngest of five children. Her father is deceased so her mother is the sole caretaker. She struggles to make a living by doing farm work for others. This is very seasonal and doesn't pay well. Three of Mary's older siblings had to drop out of school because they could not afford secondary school fees. Mary wants to continue her education and become a doctor. She is helpful with chores at home and is very responsible. She enjoys playing with friends when she has free time.
