Simon, is the son of a single mother who struggles with health issues. She is unable to care for him. Simon often went without food, relying on classmates to share their meals and attending funerals and weddings just to eat. He is now safe at Kieni West where he can receive the care, love, and stability that he needs. He dreams of becoming an engineer in the future.
