Askandar Sawadogo
Life for a child in Burkina Faso can be difficult. The area has been impacted by AIDS, refugees from surrounding areas, and is a high-risk area for trafficking. Children have many responsibilities at home like carrying water, farming and gardening, and taking care of livestock. For fun, they enjoy playing football (soccer) without shoes, outdoor games like hide-and-seek, and swimming in the river. A sponsor's support helps ensure that your child has nutritious meals at our center. Askandar asks for prayers for his parents and for peace.
