John lived with his mother and his three siblings after she left his abusive father. She was extremely traumatized by the abuse and was unable to work or send her children to school. John is thankful to be at Rapha where he is safe and able to continue his education. John enjoys reading and his favorite subject is science. One day, he hopes to have a job as an engineer.
